Royal
Chitwan National Park:
It is a world famous reserve of subtropical forest about 165 km.
south of Kathmandu with river margin, a superb bird habitat, with
over 400 species recorded. It is also the habitat for the great
one-horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear,
wild boar, deer, monkey, crocodile, wild elephant, striped hyena
and many more. The excursions can be made on Elephant back Safari,
by foot, by Jeep drive in to the jungle or by canoe along the river,
all of which will provide a fascinating insight into this unique
habitat. |
